Dr. Ishfaq Ahmad is a Computer Science and Engineering Professor and Director of the Center for Advanced Computing Systems at the University of Texas at Arlington, Texas, USA. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Syracuse University, New York, U.S.A., in 1992, and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 1985. His early education was at Central Model School and Government College in Lahore.
